Common saline..0.9 sodium! More for fluid replacement..he might be dehydrated so it's possible!

Crew should be first aid trained. Usually in long body plane, there should have at least one medical trained personnel. I was on a flight once when they called for one.

Went to google then realise planes are required to carry first aid kits that can be used/ handled by cabin crew as well as sealed emergency medical kit that are only released to qualified medical professionals eg doctors, paramedics, nurses who identified themselves during emergencies.

Stethoscope and IV infusion sets are basic items in the emergency medical kit.
