Limousine & Subway pass

Currently the Airport Limousine Bus has this package between Haneda Airport and hotel:

Haneda Airport Set
3,200 yen for Two bus tickets and 48-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket.
1,800 yen for One bus ticket and 24-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket.

I am travelling with a friend and will only want to buy one-way ticket as the return timing from our hotel doesn't fit into our schedule.

Can I check if anyone has experience buying two bus tickets and 48-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket and both bus tickets are used from Haneda Airport to downtown hotel?

Currently, I have one 48-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket and would just need another for my friend. I thought that if this is doable, this package will work fine for us. When we purchased 2 tickets, is the other ticket strictly for return route from hotel to Airport? I recalled previously that the ticket shows that it can be used either way
