Logitech Performance Mouse MX - Yosemite compatibility

Planning to get the Logitech Performance Mouse MX.

Does it work with OS X Yosemite? Would be great if someone using this has info.

Been reading complaints that the Logitech Control Center, used for mapping the buttons, doesn't work with OS X Yosemite.

I've only encountered a few complaints so I don't know if it's just an isolated case.

Any input will be appreciated.

works fine, other than logitech control center... so unless you want to map some cheem keys, it will work fine

I see. Of the 4 thumb buttons, I'm planning to map two of them to forward & back on browser, and another for Mission Control.

Will I need Logitech control center to do this?
