Any to recommend? Only looking for android tablet with the size of 9.7" and aspect ratio of 3:2 or 4:3 and have good battery life. Use to own samsung tab s3 9.7" but the battery life is terrible after updating Android. Use mainly for reading ebook and pdf documents.

Thanks.

I don't think other than the Tab 3 released by Samsung, that there are any Android tablets of the aspect ratio you want... actually 16:10 also not bad for e-reading...

Yeah. I also own an old 9.7 inch 4:3 tablet from teclast (still working, but battery is almost a goner). Frankly speaking, I don't feel how that aspect ratio is good for reading even after years of use and quickly adjusted to 16:10 screens when I upgraded. All I know Is this 4:3 aspect ratio is horrid for media consumption with super thick black bars top and bottom, and fill screen cuts off a lot of the video.

Realistically speaking, paperback books come in all shapes and sizes and I never refused to buy/read a book because of its 'aspect ratio'.

And certainly, today, I won't even consider buying a tablet for $270+ which performs worst than the snapdragon 660/662 just because of its aspect ratio.

And some comments on ipad. Be careful when buying a ipad and do research on it.

Many older gen ipad, like the 6th gen ipad recommended above, do not comes with a laminated screen. This affects readability when u are outside.

Also, certain models have critical design and manufacturing issues.
2nd gen ipad pro has white spots due to bad design and backlight dying and u can see for yourself that many sets have this issue in carousell. Despite still being a very capable spec-ed machine with it's a10x chip, there are people having problems to sell it even at $250-$300. (Talking about 'depreciation value' of ipads.... Lol)

The same issue exist on ipad air 3rd gen also.

3rd gen ipad pro has bending issues, which apple refuses to acknowledge. Some of them are even bent out of the box.

Do not assume that ipad=quality. Do your own research before taking the dip.
