Hi, recently my laptop fail on me. I'm considering getting an ultrabook as it is light & I don't play games. I only used them on microsoft office, surfing net, & some movie. Looking for a budget ultrabook which is light.

There are ultrabooks which met your usage and the companies charge premium pricings. maybe state your budget and the guys here can recommend accordingly.

Yeah agree, cannot want cheap, want fresh, want big ones...

Usually the budget ultrabooks come with compromise in terms of build materials and cheap LCD screen panel (TFT TN panels with bad contrast and viewing angles).

If you just want something to do basic stuff, why not try Asus Transformers running android, or if you want to have Windows, try the Acer P3 tablet with Bluetooth keyboard.

Good screen on that one.

Why not check out a few of the new Chromebooks? It has a slight learning curve, but it really does everything you need it to.

An issue you might have would be compatibility with your existing gadgets. You can't install device drivers (phones, tablets and what not).

Please note that Android no longer support Adobe flash player which is required when watching Starhub Tv any where. Adobe flash player is no longer available for download from Google Play.
It will be better to get Transformer book TX300 running on Windows 8.

Yes but not every machine can support. My Jelly bean could not support.

No la. I meant android not an option. Go for ASUS X202 or S200 at $699. I Going EXPO sales in the afternoon, to look look see see. K55 ah ah ah.
