HIP incoming. Want to change out my top loader (15 years, Mitsubishi, served very well) to a 2-in-1 front load.

I understand the 2-in1 risks, but this is more for convenience factor for my old folks so they don't have to keep shifting loads.

Currently looking at the Hitachi BD-SG100CJ, with a budget around there. (No Samsung/LG, bad experience with their appliances) Any other recommendations would be great!

I have very good experience with Fisher & Paykel washer and dryer (separate machines), they have combi washer+dryer but I never tried that though

I'm using 9/6Kg Front Load Washer Dryer with Eco Bubble. Very good and advanced washer dryer.... highly recommended.

2 in 1 washer normally don’t last.

Recommend to buy it from Harvey Norman or any store that can extend to 5yrs warranty.

Mine, the dryer feature broke down a few times. Luckily still within the 5yrs.

pretty good. But need to call them first before proceed to contact agent to repair.

But Tiagong once your repair cost exceeded the cost of the product, then your warranty is consider expire even though it is still under warranty.
