Recently, there has been some seniors looking for hall room. Which is funny because asking in this forum won't get him/her anywhere, since under NTU rules, no one is allowed to sublet their room to non-residents. Thus, unless those people are trying to break the rules, there is no case for students to ask for hall room here.
However, I understand that there are genuine cases of people trying to find rental from nearby houses, as well as finding a kind soul to let him/her squat legally.
Nonetheless, as some people have been abusing this forum to abet others to break the rules for their own benefit, here are the periods in which certain types of hall-related threads are allowed:
Looking for roommate (senior): Beginning of March, till hall application for seniors closes
Freshie looking for roommate (freshie): Beginning of June, till hall application for juniors closes
Plea for legal squat: 2 weeks before term reopens, until hall application for seniors or juniors start.
For those looking for accommodation nearby NTU, a separate thread will be created for people to post. In lieu of the first paragraph, all request for hall accomodation will be removed. Here's a tip: if you are genuinely finding a hall room, go Student Services Centre. Here no power to get u a room one.
