looking for premium 27" panel

My budget is around 1k - 1.5k. Must shared between 3 devices.

What is needed:
- specs wise need to have at least native 2560x1440
- must have enough port to share with 1 PC, 1 Mac Mini, 1 PS4.
- IPS
- good ergonomic to switch between ports
- premium build quality
- no inconsistent glitch like breeding, ghosting like all my past Dell monitor.

My usage:

- gaming (connect to pc and ps4).
- work (mac mini).

I am looking at

- Samsung Series 9 as it have DP (for my mac mini), DVI (PC), hdmi (PS4). But i heard Samsung panel is ****.

- Dell is u2713hm is ok but i am very worry with the inconsistent QC and lemon set (i have bad experience with the u2410 RMA 2 sets still have problem..)

Any other good recommendation?

Samsung PLS panel is great (just like IPS), unlike the TN ones used on their mainstream series.

Try qnix qx2710 evolution II DP model. have DP, HDMi, DVI. Using PLS panel. Around $409.

Bro which specific model are you referring to. So far i only see DP version with 2 dual link DVI and DP, don't have HDMI though.

Eizo ev2736w only have 2 ports. i dunno the price, probably will blow my budget away.

Well, buying Dell is like a gamble coz of QC. Buying QNIX is also a gamble since its from overseas. Just gotta weigh which has the lowest chance of failure.

I've been using my U2713HM since last November. No problem for this piece since I've had it.

U wan a 1440p with ips panel without ghosting in gaming is impossible lo. I used many monitor so far I know : ips good for colour, video and causal gaming.But ghosting in fps game
Tn panel : good for all gaming , low ms , no ghosting but bad for colour , viewing angle.

I am ok with some ghosting. My old u2410 have ghosting as well. What i like about premium Dell monitor is the ergonomic and features. The number of ports to share among devices is crazy (7 input ports, 2 usb and card reader), the overall build quality and sturdiness of the base is excellent. Just that the panel itself like i mentioned, is always a gamble. what a waste.

i am looking at the Apple thunderbolt display but too bad it is not compatible to any PC unlike the older cinema display.

I am also looking at the korean A- premium monitor like QNIX, crossover etc. If the build quality and features can be better, i don't even mind paying a bit more for it.

The closest right now is the Samsung S27B970D but not much reviews out there. Any bros and gurus here use it before?

my graphic is old already, using the palit gtx 570 sonic platinum. I intended to upgrade but not so soon. not much games to look forward.

I always think:

graphic cards - just like handphones and camera, need to change every few years if not outdated and cannot run certain apps or games. So the upgrading process is actually very natural. computer lag badly = time to upgrade. The component itself is rather worthless. Just like my gtx570.

a high-end monitor - it serve a much direct and simpler purpose, just like watches and speakers. something that can keep for a much longer time. Something i dun mind investing.

You can take Samsung series 9 monitor. Not an issue at all.in terms of QC, at least it's made in korea. Secondly,that monitor is using PLS panel so in terms of quality I do need to to say much,the ports u need,they have it all.to add on,it has color calibration software provided for u,sRGB 100%.SO for your budget it's gonna be a good deal for sure.else u can take dell 2713.at the end of the day,it's between quality vs price.
