looking for upgrade RAM HPdv6171tx

Anyone know where i can get the ram for HP dv6171tx 8gb x2 ?

i plan to upgrade it to 16 GB . but seems having difficulty to look for the part. i check in Kingston web this model is using
8GB Module - DDR3 1333MHz
Part Number: KTH-X3B/8G .

Please help to advise whether any compatible model which i can use.

Do you need the 16gb? Cause currently 16gb is not cheap.

Any way, you got to check your motherboard whether does it have an additional slot for you to put in.

If so then you can proceed to buy another 8gb 1333mhz.

yeah need 16 GB ram for 3Dmax software. currently having 4 gb x 2. plan to replace it with 8gb 1333Mhz x 2. i check with some store they mention this is old memory does not compatible with 1600Mhz which is current in the market.
i cant find 8gb 1333Mhz selling in the market right now.

8gb 1333mhz is selling the same price as 1600mhz.

Go down and bargain.

$89 +/- $3 from time to time for a single 8gb.

8 GB 1333mhz is available at SLS. Just bought mine a few weeks back for $95 . I never bargain haha, maybe if you bargain can get better price.
