LOS red light blinking.Help!

what could be the possible cause..already power cycle modem and router but failed..inform SH but unable to resolve..need service guy to see..could it be the optical fibre cable faulty which can replace easily.?

If you willing to spend the money to buy the cable, it should be available at nearby hardware stores or outlets like courts, challenger, harvey norman or best denki. Else, you have to wait for SH guy to visit onsite confirm liao

possible reasons:

1. broken yellow fibre patch cord
2. faulty ONT/ONR (basically, your modem)
3. fibre cut in your residence

The only other thing I can think of is that the NLT might be responsible for maintaining the fiber network.

If your LOS disappears in the morning, it could be because of their schedule maintenance.
