For my Maxx plan, the last time i purchased an add-on was back in mid Jan. On April 1 received sms reminding to purchase add-on by end April to avoid $5 charge. Then today, just received sms saying the base plan is sill active. Considering letting it lapse to see whether the line will still remain active or get cancelled after May. This is my spare line which i hardly use so i dont see a point in paying $6 every 60 days to maintain.

Different telcos offer varying coverage strengths depending on the location. For example, I used to use Simba but found that its signal was weak at certain MRT stations. So, I switched to M1 Maxx, which performs better in those stations. However, M1 Maxx tends to be slower in some shopping malls I frequent.

The key takeaway is that the best telco for you is the one that provides the strongest coverage in the specific places you visit most often. Just because a telco has weak signal in one area doesn’t mean it’s unreliable across all of Singapore.

I DIY sealed one leh, coz too many junk mail. Then postmen started helping to throw in flyers too. 🙃

good move! (y) i will do it too. leceh everytime open letter box, gotta clear out all the junk
postman paid to deliver junk mail... that one hard to block, for now.

(i thought your place is atas condo where the letterboxes need pass to access)

Been using $12 plan from Shopee, and recently saw $10 one while browsing around.

Not bad, 30-days of usage plus 60-day badminton patterns... Yup, still parking a number there.

Indeed it is still a free line but something is brewing as now there is a window appear in Maxx app warning user needs to buy plan to continue using the line. 😅
