Boot it up
Click on the Apple logo on the top left of the screen
Click "About this Mac"
Click "More Info..."

Should say "Retina, 13/15-inch, Mid 2014"

Klantenservice: Serienummers

Check the serial number of the MacBook and key in the above link. Actually the link above will give details of any Apple product using their serial number. Includes year and month of manufactured, which production plant in China, which generation and so on.

It should all be the latest model if you are buying from Courts. You can always look up the model number from sites such as everymac.com and compare that number against the number on the box that the MBP comes in. Thus, no need to even open the box!

Good post. I had mine 2009 MBP bought there and it will be mine last time getting from them. After talking to the sales guy what free gift I will be getting, I was about been carry away. When about to walk with him to the cashes, I suddenly wanting to open up and inspect so that I wouldnt have to come back if there is some problem.
Sure enough when I open up, it seem to me the packing is not as new as what I though it was. Seal was been broken, so as the plastic that hold the mbp. Immediately I insist to change a new one. Although the guy said lucky I inspecting, but I wonder if this is an intention.

Thanks guys. Will be getting it from epic centre.. Since they have promotion, top up 39 and get free case, keyboard protector, 500gb hard disk, wireless mouse. But if you choose to pay by instalment then cant enjoy the promotion.

if you use DBS credit card to pay , you can always use DBS my preferred payment instalment plan.. you get to enjoy the promotion from epicentre... DBS charge a minimum service from 3% onwards

the downside is that you will not recieved any credit card points
