Hi there,

I currently have an old macbook charger where it's rubber cable sleeves is starting to peel and break apart.

The cable works fine and all so I actually intend to try fix the cable-sleeve up with any reasonable/cheap means.

Hence i was wondering if anyone here has fixed up their cables before, and to share their experiences and methods here.

I couldn't really find anything reasonable/viable through google sadly :s13:

Thanks in advance :D

Just slip a heatshrink tube or tape it with some electrical tape

Thanks!

In that case would it make sense if i peeled away the existing rubber sleeve and apply the new heatshrink over? in terms of structural integrity and flexibility?
