Macbook Folder? during bootup

Hi all


I have a MacBook pro 13" and today it acted up and never recovered . I:eek:t is now stuck with a FOLDER with a cross "?" - can anyone tell me what are the potential problems? How can I salvage my harddrive?

That is right indeed. Already took out the harddisk and found it to be working and data in order...

So what could be wrong? Any idea, anyone?

Reset your PRAM.
Boot into recovery mode and repair your disk and permissions.

I hav the similar issue with my mini. 3rd time in the past one week.

It appears that hard disk connector to logic board is loose. Reconnecting it for the time being works while I ordered a spare from ifixit.

You might wan to check the connector.
