those who kena, have you tried routing all the ads servers to localhost or non-existent IP? :o

edit your hosts file and do something like

Code:
127.0.0.1	tpc.googlesyndication.com	pagead2.googlesyndication.com	googleads.g.doubleclick.net

if you still get hijacked, means it's not from the ads, but from browser or other sources... :(

maybe images hotlinked from prawn or dubious sites?
need to take note of which thread you were browsing before you kena hijacked....

I visited many websites everyday and the hijack only happen at hwz forum. The browser hijack is getting less frequent now, but it is still happening every few days.

The google red screen warning cannot view source.

I've had this issue for about a month already. Currently using the Singtel stock Aztech 7003 router which sucks. Cannot update firmware, change DNS etc...

The issue is not just limited to HardwareZone though. Tried scanning with Bitdefender anti-virus and MalwareBytes and nothing.

For those still experiencing the hijack when visiting HWZ, I suggest try clearing the browser's cache and cookies and monitor again. If the hijack still happens, then it's easier to narrow down the issues.

@jasonwsc: Do you have other PCs at home? Are they facing similar issues?
