Making Simple Linux Distro from Scratch

This YT video does brings back some of my younger days when I am so into compiling my own Linux kernel back in my uni days because I was trying to enable the softmodem device module meant for my NEC laptop, but later also trying to build the device drivers into monolithic part of the kernel instead of being separate modules and also enable some features here and there hoping will bring more performance to the laptop running it.
This definitely is a starting point to having some educational fun building my own linux system for fun!
