Malaysia Visa on Arrival

Hihi. Would like to check with yall on the Visa on Arrival process here. Bringing some Chinese friends to KL, so intending to use this option.
Does anyone knows how we'll need to show that we have"sufficient funds"? We carry credit cards, but how do they check what's the limit? Or would cash be a better option?
