There is totally no enforcement, errant smokers are everywhere, vapers are everywhere even though vaping is illegal.
He appeared relaxed.
A man on a personal mobility aid (PMA) was caught on camera smoking on an MRT train platform seemingly without a care in the world.
Stomper alerted Stomp to the video circulating online since around March 21.
No one else is in the video.
The man's PMA was parked right in front of the screen doors in the elevated MRT station as smoke can be seen being exhaled by him.
Smoking on public transport is illegal in Singapore. Offenders can face a fine of $200 if they are caught, or up to $1,000 if they are convicted in court.
Netizens pointed out that the man was not just smoking, but vaping, which is banned in Singapore. Those found guilty of purchasing, using or possessing an e-vaporiser can be fined up to $2,000.
