I actually use a lot of  Maps for bus routes/public transit. I like e interface better than Google Maps.

What I don't like about Apple Maps

- No Night Color Scheme
- when swiped up to go back home screen and eventually phone goes to lock. When reaching the next driving directions, the screen pop up again to show the map. Maybe this is good for some people but its annoying for me. I will swipe to unlock if i need to see the full map myself. I prefer Google in this case as they only appear a small notification with the short and sweet instructions will do

- When in driving mode, if you lock the screen from the maps or Home Screen, the whole map will be shown on the Lock Screen upon touching the display.

using Waze. One thing i don't like about Apple Maps.. when i driving, my Apple watch keeps vibrating when there is an alert or need to turn at XXX m

Oh yes, Apple Maps app follows the time and switch between day and dark mode. No way to change that.

Likewise for the maps to be shown in Lock Screen.
