Monthly Free Withdrawals:

Enjoy a fee waiver on your first S$500 overseas ATM withdrawals for every calendar month during the promotion period, with a 2% fee applied only to the amount that exceeds the first S$500 per month.1

Note: Your default monthly Overseas ATM Withdrawal Limit is S$500. To request a higher monthly limit, please contact our customer service team. Any increase is subject to MariBank's review and discretion.

I understand that the $500 can only be taken from savings account.

Do we need to do anything to link cc to savings acc when using it at overseas ATM?

You probably want to read the t&c sent to ur email. What we share here may not be true.

But my understanding is it will auto deduct from savings account.

To enable overseas ATM withdrawals on your card, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your MariBank app.
  2. Tap on Card on the home screen.
  3. Tap Settings on the toolbar.
  4. Tap on Payment Controls.
  5. Toggle on Overseas ATM Withdrawals.
  6. Note: Some older overseas ATMs still rely on a card's magnetic stripe, and you may need to toggle on Magnetic Stripe Payments.

To make an overseas ATM withdrawal, follow these steps:

  1. Insert your Mari Credit Card or Mari Debit Card into the ATM.
  2. Input your 6-digit Secure PIN.
  3. Enter the withdrawal amount.
  4. If prompted, you may select “Savings Account”, “Current Account”, or “Credit Card” at the ATM. All options will deduct directly from the SGD balance of your Mari Savings Account.
  5. Select “Continue without Conversion”, which is the option to withdraw in that foreign country’s currency (e.g., MYR in Malaysia) to avoid the currency conversion fee or foreign dynamic currency conversion (DCC) charges.
  6. Collect the dispensed cash from the ATM and remember to keep your physical card.
Note: Your overseas ATM withdrawal Card PIN is the same as your MariBank 6-digit Secure PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, please refer to What is my card PIN and how can I reset it?

If you need unlimited withdrawal, use the Trust card.

It's good to have a Mastercard that offers free ATM withdrawals because there are some ATMs that offer free withdrawals for Mastercard but not Visa cards. E.g. 7 Bank in Japan.
