Too soon. It will affect their P30 series sales. It usually launches with the latest Kirin processor in the much later part of the year.

kirin 985 production line start in Q3, & only be ready in Q4 which is Oct.

Mate 30 Pro may be delayed and available only within China given the limited chips and licences. The OS should be non-Android and proprietary and the hardware might be downgraded.
