IMO if they start offering Infinite cards, the value will drop.

Infinite is supposed to be truly exclusive and literally by invitation only. Just like Amex Black Centurion which is not even found on their website.

only available in Malaysia

yeah saw it on a Paragon magazine. glanced through the benefits, doesn't seem to be on par with SG's VI. maybe because they set entry requirements lower.

Not really, look at SCB & HSBC Infinite cards.

It's launched by Maybank SG, see today's TV event ads.

just saw it on TV ad. card design different from Msia version.

SCB Visa infinite is also invite only, must be their priority banking cust then they will invite. Only HSBC can direct apply.

This one got limo to airport and back and priority pass and 1st year free. SCB one no limo but got PP and 1st year free. HSBC one must pay annual fees.

I would be interested to know how to "express" our interest. They said $200K, I think $120K should do it as a start...

What about the rewards perks? Is it better than Horizon Card for overseas purchases?

If comparing maybank vi and hsbc vi, which is better? I do hold the Horizon card and always spend more than 70k pa. So getting 2nd year waiver is easy.

BTW, when I spoke to the maybank person, she said when you spend overseas, the admin charge on the horizon plat is 1.5% but the admin charge on the infinite is 1.75%.

The only other difference with the horizon plat she pointed out was the free airport transfer (which I get with the HSBC elite travellers' card anyway).

and she kept repeating that it's by invite only in a tone that implies - "and you are not invited"...
