mba water damage

ok so in short I accidentally spilled water on my mba and mba immediate shut down. I know it's most likely logic board failure already, and apple 98% chance won't honour my warranty anymore.

what I want to ask is, should I purchase the rmbp, or borrow my friend's mbp? as compared to mba 2013, is the new rmbp worth buying? (if I really end up buying rmbp, practically all my savings will be wiped out, and I don't think I will like to go back to windows anymore.)

I probably won't buy mba because it's very fragile. I cannot count the number of times I accidentally knocked my mba against something and created dents

before buying another mb and wipe your savings, why not try to see if it can be repaired? there are alot of macbook repair shops on the higher floors of sim lim sq.

hmm, do you have any reputable shops to recommend?

tbh I think it's more than just logic board fried. I think other components also gone case.

nope. its made of the same material. so any knocks will still create a dent.

no in short if you don't want to take care of your stuff, enjoy having dents - or get a thinkpad or panasonic tough book

good chance the next mbp will be using a new generation chip, so probably waiting for that to happen ba.

next refresher may be around mid 2015 and earliest will be around feb 2015. which is half a year to go. why not just get it now? u don need that powerful chip anyway
