Mechanical Keyboard Testing in Singapore

Hello Guys,

I am looking to switch to mechanical keyboard recently and have shortlisted a few keyboards. However, I am looking for a shop in Singapore where i could preferably test the keyboards physically before i buy them..

Would anyone know any shop in Singapore which allow the user to test different types of mechanical keyboards/switches?

But Challenger shops tend to have those display keyboard sets where you can touch touch them and have a good feel

I remember buying my cherry mx brown keyboard from sls tecdrome long time ago. Sales guy was very friendly, polite and very knowledgeable about mechanical keyboard. Lots of keyboard switches to try out also including kaith switches. Anything you want to know more about mechanical keyboard switches can ask him.

Try not to press too hard or be too rough to the keys? I think the key could become non responsive or don't respond to key presses if you constantly press too hard or abuse it. Take good care of it and it can last you a life time. Especially good mechanical keyboards don't come cheap.

Only if you go to local enthusiast meet ups. Even then, can try, cannot buy.

Tried buckling springs. Own a few too. Nice tactility but requires a bottoming out style of typing and its too heavy after getting used to modern tuned mx switches.

Off the shelf, Topre actually feels the best.

Yeah I won't give up the raw tactility for anything else though, although I agree with it probably being heavy for most users used to softer touch typing/cherry based switches
