Hi everyone, I note many reports forecasting big growth in medical cannabis industry. I've started to look at cannabis related etf such as CBDX on LSE. Seems like CBDX is similar to IWDA (e.g. domiciled in Ireland, accumulating dividend etc.) and so what applies to IWDA applies to CBDX?

Also, I dont think Sg will legalise cannabis anytime soon..do you foresee problems cashing out on CBDX if I start DCA? Hope to hear your thoughts!

Leaving aside the question whether it’s wise to speculate in this way, my understanding is there is currently no legal restriction in Singapore against buying and selling this ETF.

r/WSB is not "many reports", I'm just saying.

Weed stocks have gone crazy in the last few days, not because of any fundamental change in their prospects, but because retail traders have gone nuts for them. Now is not a good time to buy weed stocks, because everyone else has already bought them and driven the price up.

Tip #1: Don’t gamble. Tip #2: If you insist on ignoring Tip #1, and if you’re considering a long position, look for stuff that has gone DOWN, or at least languished.
