Memory/Ram not enough will cause PC to hang?

I am on 16gb memory, but my memory are always 95-98%, cause i am opening around 7 NOX app. Should I increase my memory/ram?

Hi bro there could be a few reasons for your pc to hang. AIO getting faulty, storage maxed out and many more. I’ll try to help you narrow down the possibilities.

One NOX programme uses about 1.5 GB of ram if I’m not wrong but what you can do is to open up task manager using ctrl + alt + del, select the services or processes tab which shows the exe file of your NOX/blue stack game ram usage. Then open another and see how much is being used. After playing for an hour, check again as the ram usage will increase the longer you are in an application especially games. If it was 1.5GB per NOX open at the outset, it will prolly have risen to 1.7GB after an hour and 1.9GB after 2 hours etc.

It is possible that your ram gets maxed out due to your apps being left open for hours without a proper rest(e.g. closing the app completely and reopen after waiting for few seconds).

Besides that, you have a really powerful 8 core CPU so you may also wanna check temperatures while using your apps just to play safe but I hope nothing is wrong with your AIO cooler as it may be more troublesome to change a cooler than some ram haha.

NOX is an android VM. Just can’t understand why need to run 6 simultaneously.

All android phone nowadays with 2gb ram already bare min. My NOX configured for 2GB min and 3GB if need to run certain games.

If 1 nox already took 2gb, then of course just barely enough to run 7 instances.

Try with 32GB then should be better.

havent use emulator for a long time, thought it would have shared memory for multi boxing by now

it still shouldn't hang ur pc, afterall, window has virtual memory
lack of memory will just cause windows to alert you and at worse case, shut down app to free memory

ur pc is hanging for other reasons
