Micro SD card write protected

All of a sudden my Samsung card got write-protected, can't format it. Anybody experienced this before?

Have you checked the physical switch?

Otherwise there's a good chance it's dying. Many cards will switch to "read only" in that case.

There's no physical switch on a micro sd. I fear it's dying on me.. But I got it like only 3 years ago, and this is the second one that happens. Usually I'll just forget it but maybe this time I'll just claim another one from them.
