MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 5 problems

Hi all Surface pro users,

I have been using the surface pro 5 for only 3 years.

So far, it's been perfect for my use.

However, I experience the following problems:

1) clicking function of the pen not working since 1 year ago. Called support, they asked me to click on install updates. Turns out need to install updates very frequently.

2) recently, called support. They asked me to uninstall pen driver. There isn't a pen driver in device manager!!!!

3) today my type cover keyboard not working.
Trouble-shoot already but still not working...

Am I unlucky or are all. Microsoft Surface devices so lousy??

I think 3 years is a pretty good record. I don't want to add more about quality of Surface products. You can easily go Google for issues with Surface Pro, and determine on your own. The form factor is certainly very nice to have, but I personally feel that MS is charging a premium price for a device with questionable quality. Also, I don't know about other's experience with this sort of type covers, but based on my experience, they don't last long because it will lose connection with the device at some point and there are no other ways you can connect it to your laptop except through the pogo pins.

I got surface 3. Charging is frequently a problem. Sometimes charge and sometimes don't. Need to get at the right moment. Pen sometimes lost detection for no reason. Need to take in and out the AAAA battery. Old device can't complaint much.

Yeah. It’s definitely hardware issue coz I did a factory reset and the type cover keyboard is still not working. Disappointing.

It’s really annoying if things don’t work well especially after paying a lot of $$ for it.

I have a surface pro 4 that has a screen problem. The screen will heat up d get hot. Once this happen, the screen flickers and shakes.
