In Singapore so far I can find the compact mini-ITX case like Antec ISK110 and Inwin BQ660.

Is there any other choices besides these two that I can find in SLS? Am looking for form factor like Zotac or

For example, HeatSync, Impactics, Streacom FC8 Evo and Hdplex H3.S

HeatSync Mini-Client 2500
HDPLEX H3.S Fanless Computer Case - HDPLEX INC

Can't seem to find them though. Any suggestion?:s22:

Any other shop besides mynextcom?

Gamer PC pte ltd (Ivan) has some cases.
Haha I was just asking him if he has stock for the fractal node 605.
I'm considering if i should migrate my rig into a smaller case.

Commerztech on Level 6 or find dr_disciple over at VRForums. :)

t258jgn does also sells some of the slim form factor chassis distributed by local distros that are uncommonly found at SLS shops.

How small do you want it to be and why? :s11:

How about getting Intel NUCs?

Node 605 is still an ATX form factor chassis, smaller than your Antec Eleven Hundred but nowhere near to mITX ones.. :o

And hi long time no see.. :s13:

Haha have been avoiding the hardware threads to avoid temptations.
BTW, do you think i can fit my rig in the node 605 with a h80i? or is the radiator too thick.

It is actually very similar to Silverstone ML series HTPC chassis such as this one:

Looking at the 120mm fan allowance of Node 605, it should be a tight fit beside the PSU mount, but the pipe will not be long enough to reach there. And the fan mount above motherboard is out of question since RAM modules will block the WC installation. :o

You think distro will be so free to help you check. They will not entertain you other than brands they bring in. :s22:

Certainly nope, the radiator + thickness of fan will still not be slim enough to avoid the RAM slots..

Considered the Intel nuc vs a custom intel b75 build using bq660s. Decided not to get the nuc since it's not cost effective unless u really want the smallest case possible.

Super happy with my new HTPC!

I've been playing with mini-itx and matx and to an extent, also bought the mac mini and intel nuc. All in the name of a smaller footprint.

Man mini and Intel NUC are pretty obvious in terms of footprint.

As for mini-itx, I have certain requirements like adding a Graphics card, optical drive and HDD hot swop drive plus 2 HDDs in my rig. End up casing inside very cram.

As such, I will be switching back to ATX rigs after the shelf life of my PCs unless it's my HTPC.
