Missing Location Option on iOS Tiktok app

Hi folks, my friend's tiktok app on the IOS platform is missing the location to add location, does anyone know why?

okay, we have isolate that it is not a phone issue, because when my account is login on the same phone, the location option is there, however when my friend logins, the location option is not there, so it must be a settings on the tiktok profile app . however we did a 1-1 comparsion and everything looks the same. does anyone have any idea what could be the issue?

did u manage to resolve this issue?

i seems to have this issue, but i cannot find how to resolve it, did you travel to china?
i came back to china and i have this issue
