Hi all,

I just got into a new role which offers $80 per month mobile line subsidy. Am currently on Zym $10 plan and actually happy with it but wanted to make use of the higher subsidy to get a mobile phone to sell off after getting discount.

Will need to port over my line and will not consider M1 or Simba. Which provider and mobile plan give the best bang for this "arbitrage". Do not mind getting into a installment plan.

singtel cis will be your best bet. at $80/mth, you can get those higher end phones and cheaper upfront. singtel 5g is not bad, can use it if you need the bandwidth and speed.

Different companies offer different discount, depend on your company's size and negotiating power . Check with singtel and starhub on how many % discount you will be getting then compare.

This is lesser known to many. Most get the typical 20% now because their HR depts don't fight enough (cough), but there are still companies with strong negotiation power (major audit firms, international banks), where certain positions (VP and above usually) can get pretty good discounts better than the usual.

A friend was getting 50% + $300 off handset + some VASes (typically Roaming) not so long ago. ;) That's why their entire family's iPhone Pro (Max)s are on this friend with a good monthly payment and low upfront cost
