Hello friends, specs to the right.

Recently mobo's dr debug flash d6 error, then proceed to boot as per normal (can hear windows start up sound, but no display). need to restart then it works as usual.

now it gives me error 55 , which says "Memory not installed" according to mobo manual.

What i've done:
1. Bring GPU,PSU and rams down to convergent and check if there was any issues, one ram was found to have issues, PSU working fine, GPU passed Furmark stress test etc. (PSU and GPU only used for one year-ish)

2. got new 1333 MHz ram and tested individually in each slot, still showing the same error 55.

does this mean my mobo has officially "up lorry"? btw, the mobo is already out of warranty (bought in 2012 iirc).

well i dunno whats all these errors number means, beside u can google out the actual lengthy context.

So here is the thing, when u slots in 1 by 1 per each restart is there any bios screen? before error poping?

basically error 55 is the mobo saying no memory detected, it doesnt even boot to bios or anything. it will just show the error, then keep restarting.

and yes, i tried the new rams one by one in each slot, cleaned the contacts etc, same error

Very cheem. Hates it when Mobo giving problem.

basically now mobo doesnt detect ram.

1. cleaned ram, tested each ram in each slot. doesnt work.
2. GPU,PSU works fine when i brought them down to convergent.
3. remove cmos battery and left it there etc, same issue

just wondering if there are anything else i left out before i have to get a new mobo T.T

nope already out of warranty. can recommend any decently priced mobo?

prefer to reuse everything if possible, budget around 200+? mainly used for playing games, dota2, blade n soul, etc.

since my case is mid tower i dont mind getting atx mobo as well

dont really need other features, cpu is working fine so i prefer to reuse it, unless upgrading it gives a significant boost?

i just want the new board to be future proof. additional features like m2 slot or usb3.1 are welcome but not really necessary

i see so just change MB. CPU wise not much gain and those addtional maybe quite hard to get at 200 pricing.

from other users with code 55,

check for bent socket pins

using stock cooler since i was not oc-ing, anyway the mobo was giving me a lot of issues prior to this one already, like not detecting my gpu when it works perfectly fine when i brought it to svc centre

Can anyone recommend a mobo around 200 to 250 ish?

Needs to be compatible with ddr3 ram and preferably a atx board. Extra features like m2 slot or usb 3.1 are also welcome

2nd hand market probably your best bet. Not gonna have those extras on socket 1155.
