Hi all,

I'm looking for a replacement for my dead ram on my old pc.

My mobo is biostar but i am unsure of the model because when i boot up i see "ta690g am2", but when i run dxdiag, it shows "r690a-m2t".
How do i affirm on the model?

the reason for the above is because r690a-m2t supports up to 4GB, but ta690g am2 supports up to 8GB. however some sites which states ta690g am2 support up to 4GB only.
how do i affirm on the max support for ram?
