MOD merge thread decision is not appropriate

i want to suggest mod not to anyhow merge thread, unless the thread has non-continuity or non-meaning-serving (ie, if threads is just rants or random posts) which makes it ok to be merged

i refer to merged thread

where mod have merged my "[jogless]" threads together.
for all other but 1 main thread which is [jogless] jogging and motivation thread, i am ok with it.
however, "[jogless] jogging and motivation" serves as a motivation thread with daily updates, where fellow edmwer come in and be motivated to jog and improve lifestyle together.

merging into a common thread makes updating the thread impossible and this loses the meaning for the thread all together.

kindly whomever mod that merged the thread, please explain the reason for the action, and if any rectification can be done to revert this jogging thread back to normal,
else i will restart another [jogless] jogging and motivation thread again myself.
