hi everyone! i'll just be sharing about my application & interview experience here for those that need it.
i applied (trained teacher) in feb and went for my interview in late march. the essay questions were "what qualities should a preschool teacher have? and "what should children learn in school?" you can choose one question to write for the essay. you're given 15 minutes to do so.
afterwards, you'll wait for your interview to commence. i had 3 ladies who interviewed me. i started off with my 5 mins lesson plan first. then, they asked about the objective and what can children learn from it. they moved on to ask more about my part time job, internship, past experiences.
the interview took about half an hour. interviewers were chill but not that smiley, but don't worry! just tell yourself that you'll be seeing them only once so give it your best. today, i received an email asking for my cpf statements and o level cert etc. will be waiting for my medical check up soon!

Hi I understand that you got an offer from moe k Trained teacher last year. I currently will be having an interview with MK Trained on 30th sept. I am currently working, my window application was 22 July to 11 August, Start date is 7 oct or 23 dec 2024. Hence, i would like to know if letter of offer is given, will we have the ample time to serve notice? or the date they state to start, we have to start. Im really nervous and confused as my notice period is 2-3 months and really hope to get in moe k and do not want to waste this chance due to my notice period.

Hi all, I had just finished my medical checkup and waiting for stint. My current concern is on the salary for untrained teacher, can anyone share what is the offer given to you as untrained or trained teacher. While I'm truly passionate about this role, I want to feel justified in the pay as well. Thank you so much.
Hi, the pay range they give is around: 2.6-5.2k (started out as an untrained cher here)

Hi, normally just dropping emails to the HR you are already in contact with helps as well. I had my uncertainties for the follow up MOE pre-employment dates that I cannot miss and they assisted me with my questions well. Normally, they will give a gauge but its more or less accurate since they have alrdy made yearly plans for such recruitment exercise. Hope this helps.
Hi, may I know how long did it take for u to get your employment offer from HR after your interview? Were you ask about your preferred location, and did you get what you wanted? I've just applied for the trained teacher position and will be attending the interview soon.
