Monitor flickers when I stand up?

Hi Guys

Just want to check on this strange phenomenon that's been occurring whenever I stand up from my chair.. What's happening?

I've checked that my monitor wires are all firmly plugged in and when I stand up, my body or chair does not touch or affect any part of my computer.

This monitor was only bought a few months back.

My monitor is the ASUS PG279q

I have same problem but not by standing up, is when I switch on the lights in my room my monitor flicker + speaker have static crackling noise.
Aft I install this magnet thing on the wire cord the monitor stop flickering, the speaker also no more noise but after one month the speaker problem came back but monitor no issue. U try go sim LIM tower buy this magnetic protector thing, abt $3 per piece

I'm not sure whether it's the monitor model problem or all monitors are like that.

And nope I didn't bump the table when I got out of my seat. I made sure all wires are firmly plugged in as well.

Thanks MrMundy for the suggestion. Will probably go and see what the magnetic protection thing is as well. Not sure if the issue is those kind of unseen forces of radiation or what also

using hdmi cable? get a shielded one. amazonbasics hdmi cable not bad i'm using it and it solved my issue.

That magnet thing mentioned I believe is just a ferrite core. Maybe TS got some wires loose in his brain. Lol. Better ask someone else to check if they experience the same.

Yes something like that, no its the the display cable problem, its the power cord. When u on switches in ur house the wires will some electromagnetic wave surge and if powerful enough it will affect other electrical devices connected in the circuit, later I go home I try take photo show the magnetic protector thing

Already say its not display cable problem.. I use dp HDMI dvi all had this problem until I install the magnetic thing
