Hi, my monitor has a big white patch on it. It gets more obvious when the screen is darker. It has not been used for 3 months since my previous rig broke down.

Is there anything i can do to rectify it? Thanks. (Sorry for the inverted pictures)

I'm afraid it's time for a new monitor. The good news is that COMEX is just around the corner.

Thanks for the replies. The monitor is about 8-9 years old, so no more warranty. Time to start looking for one.

Btw, is it worth investing in a 24" 144hz gaming monitor if I'm using a single Zotac 970gtx? I play Overwatch and Wow.

well all these 120,144Mhz is useful for FPS game like Overwatch, CS, BF, COD, Tom Clan shooting game, etc.

IMO worth it, if u played a lot of shooting game. am not sure if there will be some lags or anything when using 970 but if really, just lower the game setting or tweak till the part if gives u a smooth setting.
