Currently I'm using 2 monitor (u2414, s2340l), I've been using hdmi for s2340l and mini display port for u2414. However it's fine for about half a year until recently u2414 starts giving error that says unable to receive data.

Tried hdmi on u2414 and it worked so monitor is fine.

Next, I thought it might be the cable issue and changed it, didn't help.
So I thought that it might be the gpu port that is giving problem so I got dvi and tried on u2414 by adding a dvi-hdmi converter. Worked for 2days then it started giving me the same error, unable to receive data.

All along the hdmi will work but due to the fact that my gpu only has 1 hdmi port, 1display port and 2 dvi port, I can't use hdmi for both.

Can anyone please help me??

My mobo has a vga port only if I rmb correctly. But my concern right now is idk what is wrong. It's not the cable Nor the monitor but the gpu is working fine for hdmi and not dvi/display port. Can it be software issue? Or gpu just isn't strong enough to support 2monitor?

I'm using Asus r9 280x btw, psu 650w.
