I believe this is similar to Endowus Smart Secure and Syfe Cash+ and StashAway Simple. They take your monies go and buy Unit Trust. For moomoo they selected Fullerton Cash Fund. Transaction fee I read website never say ? It is like you give monies to "buy" this CashPlus. Then everyday you can see the profits appear after your put in monies.

No transaction fee so far, other than Fullerton for SGD they just launched a new one under CSOP for USD. The SGD one pretty good and I have vested. You can keep the fund invested but if you think there is opportunity to go into the Market, you can redeem and fund immediately available for invest.

USD one look at the term is also T+0 but you need to redeem before 9am .... unless you foresee opportunity to invest in the US market at night and redeem at the early morning, otherwise still one day late.

Never compare these two but Fullerton Cash has the benefit of funds immediately available hence is good for idle fund pending for opportunities. The Ask here is Moomoo Cash Plus and Fullerton is the only SGD offered.

I did so when they had the cash back promo for RSP into Money Plus

It works the same way, but I believe there are no platform fees currently if you invest into the Cash Fund.

Subscription + redemption no platform fees....! for now I believe.

Agree if one is to park funds while waiting for opportunities. But there are investors who are in it just for the fund. For this group it maybe wiser to compare other equivalent offered in Endowus,Syfe,StashAway for e.g

Sure, should try other options if aiming for idle cash.

You are not comparing apple with apple. LG Enhanced Liquidity is more risky in terms of the instruments it invests in so of course higher return. It doesn’t mean it is better.

Quote:
The Sub-Fund’s approach to enhancing income while providing liquidity is to invest in a high quality portfolio of debt instruments diversified across varying issuers and tenures while maintaining a weighted average portfolio credit rating of A- and a weighted average portfolio duration (calculated as the sum of weighted modified duration of the portfolio, net of hedged effect of interest rate futures, if any) of not more than 1 year. The portfolio’s base currency is SGD and foreign currency-denominated securities will be fully hedged back to SGD except for a 5% frictional currency limit (to account for possible deviations from a 100% hedge).

The Sub-Fund may invest in a range of debt instruments including bonds, notes, bills, deposits and other debt securities that we deem appropriate. The obligors of these instruments include but are not limited to corporates, sovereigns, supranationals, government agencies and financial institutions

EndowUs offers a menu with different risks. The ones with higher returns come with higher risks. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Quote:
Risk considerations (for Ultra)
Suitable for mid-term cash needs and may result in the need to hold on for longer during periods of volatility to achieve higher yield.

Drawdowns can be sharper with a prolonged recovery period compared to Enhanced, although the maximum negative returns are expected to be in the low single digits. Negative months can occur when fixed income markets fall.

There is a promo right now 5% guaranteed returns for 4 months for amount of 10k. If the underlying fund offers lower than 5% then moomoo makes up for the difference. I think it is a pretty good deal to park 10k and since it is Fullerton cash fund, might as well park more if you want.

I just signed up for it.

Hi, is this promo for new user only? From what I read on the app, 5% is only for 2 mths when your referred friend signs up.

I am new to this... is this a relatively safe to park say $50K ? I prob will only need to cash in 5 mths' time or even longer. Any other hidden cost if I withdraw?

My application got rejected maybe because I already cancelled the moomoo account before :(

I am also new to this. There are no hidden costs. It is just a promotion for a limited period 4 months and limited amount 10k. They are regulated by MAS and your money will go to an underlying fund which is the Fullerton cash management fund, so it should be safe.

Hi all, saw recently that they have a promotion of guaranteed 5.8% for a period of time?

Anyone has any reviews of this Moomoo Cash Plus? Good to have for a short term of a few months to 1 year?

Thank you!
