moon lighter dodge roll help

Unable to play as dodge roll doesnt seem to work. spent hours trying to find a way to fix it on google with back and forth emails to the technical team over the past year. The team only replies with half asss we will look into it again replies when they are contacted, doesnt seem bothered to help. As this game heavily relies on dodge roll which doesnt work on my controller or on my key board I have 20+ bucks wasted as steam does not want to look into the issue and give me a refund. I have tried all the trouble shoot steps that i have found but the same issue persist. In this screen recording of me constantly pressing on the LT button to dodge roll shows how un playable it is for me :https://youtu.be/nBZpRl4K_6M. I only found out the issue was in my game after seeing this streamer playing with no dodge roll issues at all:https://youtu.be/8eyYlzoMZHs . I do not have these problems with similar indie games such as Bastion and Hyperlight drifter. They work perfect with or a controller or a keyboard.
