Motherboard + CPU recommendation

Looking for a new motherboard and CPU. Need at least 2 pciex16 slots, an M.2 slot compatible with NVMe, and if possible, SLI support as I'm using a 1070 looking to get another one.

Anyone know of any combo?

EDIT: Someone recommended me ASUS Prime X370-PRO / AMD Ryzen 7 1700 bundled for $735 by PC themes awhile back

Any idea if Ryzen has any issues with Nvidia gpu so far?

That combo is good, albeit slightly more expensive coz it's asus. Used that mobo before. Would recommend it for sure.

It support SLI and have a M.2 slot for your NVMe drive.

Wouldn't it be better if you sell your current 1070 and get a 1080ti? Performance about the same but some games don't support SLI properly. And right now with the GPU mining craze you might be able to sell your 1070 for quite a good price.

Agreed. SLI gains are minor, might as well upgrade the GPU for gains everywhere.

Thanks for the tip with selling the 1070. I forgot about the mining craze.. any idea if Ryzen has issues with Nvidia GPUs though?

It's not 1995 where VIA/SiS had GPU conflicts.

Nope, otherwise i will have a crapload of people hunting for my head to due to doing up so many Ryzen systems with Nvidia GPUs

So i sell software and often i need to purchase PC for my clients to go with.
Currently i purchase Optiplex 5050 Intel Core i5-6600 (QC/6MB/4T/3.3GHz/65W) from Dell.

However, because of the limitation of the software, my engineers will need to disable the cores reducing it to only 1 core. Otherwise the software will glitch up.

My question is, what are some CPU recommendation i can get with excellent speed despite limiting to 1 core?
