Anyone heard of MOUNTAIN Everest Max or already own one? Seems pretty interesting with all the possible customizations and modularity.....

I think it's a really gimmicky board but if that's your preference and you really like it, then go for it. Other alternatives would be something along the line like the SK108.

Everglide SK108?
Not really looking for a full keyboard.... i think a smaller form factor will suit me better for now due to space limitations.... option to extend it to full will be a value-add for sure (good to have but not a must)

Looking through all the online reviews to see whether its really worth the investment......
Linus Tech Tips seems to have given a good overall review on the aesthetics and functionalities.... but not too sure whether its 100% fair or not..... since its sponsored

wow this looks like something i would want.. never liked the numpad on the right..

because when I play competitive game need fast movement and aim I will accidentally smash my mouse onto the kb and the mouse result in a dent.

Asus claymore also can detach numpads. But my experience with the claymore 1 wasn't that good. Chattering keys and flaky software made me return the kb to xtreme solution

To be honest, i never had faith in peripherals made by machine makers.... i feel they are just trying to milk the consumers using the brand that they have established success in.

Making good peripherals and making a good machine is a totally different ball game altogether....

Wow
Magical price of S$399
Well
in the $399 segment you have your Corsair K100, Steelseries APEX Pro, Razer Huntsman V2.....
So i don't think the pricepoint for the Everest Max is something that will put people off given the fact that it comes with so many upsides of modularity and flexibility.....

May I know what keyboard is this and where did you get the keycaps from?
Keyboard: Keycool KC84 - https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.12222e8dKv5NTp&id=586858773553&_u=e28gi5bbc3f8 - need to do sea shipping as have battery. An alternative would be the Royal Kludge RK84 which you can find easily on Shopee.

Keycaps: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.12222e8dKv5NTp&id=641030568961&_u=e28gi5bb359b

Keypad: Skyloong GK21S, bought on Shopee

Switches: Akko CS Ocean Blue, bought from someone on Carousell.
