MSI Mystic Light Sync Question

Hi all for mystic light sync, how does it work?
if i have a MB with RGB header only and i get ARGB controller and plug to USB that supports mystic light, can i control it with MSI's software?

It has to be connected via the header. (Split/daisychained)
I'm not sure if there is a usb version.
Check the controller support.
Usually they will list the supported s/w like mystic light, aura sync, rgb fusion etc.
If it's stated there, then you're good.

If for example cooler master argb led small controller can offload to motherboard and say msi mystic light sync, does that connect to the rgb header or to the usb?

If my motherboard do not have argb header, is it able to support argb RAM that have mystic light sync like the trident Z?

If the controller says argb, means its the addressable rgb header.
It's a 3 pin connector.
Your board has 2x 5050 rgb headers(4pin), it doesn't have the argb header(3pin).
(Only newer models or higher end series have it @ that time.)

Rams now are generally not affected as they are powered from the dimm slot itself so you can sync via your mystic light sync software.
No issue for your Trident Z rgb.

Ah.. Ok.. So safe to say as long as it says Mystic Light Sync capable and doesn't require to be plugged to motherboard rgb/argb header, it is able to do argb even though motherboard has no argb header correct?
