The MSI 1999rmb I rather buy local gigabyte at $449. A d I doubt the 1999rmb do add in the shipping cost yet.

Well, u can get as low as RMB1899 for MSI including shipping cost that shipped within China. But to ship to Singapore is definitely not worth it. Just to share the pricing for different branding, which seems different strategy taken by distri in diff country.

I still keep an eye on all these pricing - may buy the Asus at the end, coz the noise level seems the best out of the bunch.

AMD wants their partner to sell this board for USD299. This portion is AMD and their partners share.

That works up to SGD388(Using 1.3), well Gigabyte selling for SGD449 before GST is SGD418.

So SGD30 is pretty much it. There is alot of overhead to cover, distributor, retailers.

Of course that's under the assumption the distributor are getting the full retail price of USD299 from their source, which is rarely the case.

But based on the analysis, you get the idea. SGD449 is pretty low, unless they are not interested in their margin.

If that USD299 is AMD's MSRP, then there's still some more margin in that.
