MSI vs Aftershock

Hi bros,

Running asus g73 for 3.5 years now. Thinking of upgrading after it overheated playing xcom!?

Researched here and it seems both MSI and AS offers the best gaming rigs. Looking for 17in machine with latest graphic cards. Can't decide between the 2. Any advice appreciated!

Separately I find the lighter models very sexy but is the heat problem an issue? I don't really need portability.

if you dont need portability i'd advise you not to go for slimmer models as performance and heat levels will definitely be worse than those bulky ones. if you want the best can go for aftershock titan v2.1 a 17inch model laptop which has the 980m sli thats one hell of a beast machine can play any game on highest setting maybe even at 4k resolution. im quite sure can even beat the single gtx 980 on desktops
