MSI vs ASUS Gaming Build

I have noticed that with the same budget, you could get a better custom build PC with MSI as compared to ASUS.

Any drawback of buying a MSI build ?

You are paying (more) for the company's marketing costs, not for a more reliably-built motherboard

-distro (perhaps rma experience or location)/warranty length
-priceerformance ratio
-themed build (in aesthetics & design)

will be far better than going for an Asus build, MSI build, or Gigabyte build per se.
That aside, you aren't getting any material benefits by owning a pc build made specifically by any particular corporation no?

There shouldn't be any form of drawback. Both are major Brands. Just that Asus is more towards premium pricing. Usually you pay more because of things hat they give. Like accessories, that some of it you might need, some no. Marketing, advertising and all.

Sometimes it's also based on personal experience (hence biases). So don't worry TS, just go with something you are comfortable with, both in terms of your finances and your evaluation about the brand

I go for MSI because their distro are nearer to my house than others and they have good support here.

Very near and central located.

Although i stay in amk, i can stroll there, in 5mins i reached lol.

But for those staying north region would be good also.

There is no distro holding major pc component brands and located at north area.

The biggest concern with pre-build is power supply. And they never spec this aspect
