Anyone here bought or knows anyone who bought this before?

Apparently DBS distributed it and my mom bought it (when I don't know).

I only know it's a home insurance and am currently waiting for them to send me the policy.

On that note, for home owners, do you buy home insurance? How necessary is it?

Home insurance is very common overseas.

In Singapore, you will be required to insure your property if it is still under loan repayment.

For those whom own your own property (fully paid up) taking up insurance I believed is not mandatory but is good to have in case of fire or thief cases. A bit like medical or accident insurance, pay $$ but hope you don't have to claim but is there if you ever so suay to have to claim...

NTUC Income have a policy which cost approx 250+ for 3 years I think... for comparison purpose

Was not given the option to discontinue when MSIG send the auto renewal notice. Called customer officer but was not given any answer at all. Quite disappointed with the "foreign" customer service officer who did not render any assistance.

That is weird. I emailed them and they replied me with a termination form.
