Murdoch or RMIT?

I've been working for almost half a year now. Planning to take up a degree in Marketing part-time.

Been look through and can't decide if I should go for Murdoch in Kaplan or RMIT in SIMGE. Any students here can share their views? Really have to decide soon.

I am currently taking full-time marketing in SIM-RMIT. The modules are pretty easy to score, and it's mostly project-based, with a final examination come the end of each semester. So if ure the sort that cannot do well in exams, at least the mid-term test and project can pull your grade up a little. Just my humble 2cent worth!

RMIT is well known in Sg because it is from SIM GE just like Murdoch University from SMF.

However it has more bad or wrong reputation then good one. Eg:

Singapore = False RMIT Degree offered through the Brookes Business School.

Australia = RMIT failed to act on allegations that students cheated on exams, helped by a senior member of staff who acted corruptly.

but its not at kaplan

To me the are better Unis out there. If you're talking about price yes Murdoch@SMf & Kaplan and SIM-Rmit beats the rest except for well UOL. HOWEVER think of how widely accepted the degree is and how long each schools have conducted the particular programs with those uni. The longer they are chances are that the relationship between the PTE sch and overseas Uni are very close. This will help you in handling disputes during your course if any arises for that matter.

Murdoch and RMIT are just both very good at marketing. If you ask aussies about both schools, they'll tell you that both aren't exactly top-tier.

why not consider UniSIM? Increasing recognition, government subsidy and support, cheaper fees, only downside is that you need to commit 3 years.

But take note 3 years is only provided if u commit yourself fully by taking 4+ modules max for every semester and don't fail any modules during ur course.

U dont have to ask the aussies because TS is likely to find job in SG. U should in fact ask a Singaporean HR about both schools and they are very likely to tell u that most private school are the same
