it depends on where u are going.

if the place is easily accessible by train, then maybe it is better to stick to train. especially for city areas, as it can be expensive to drive due to the parking fee.

do take note of the luggage size if driving, coz ur luggage may not fit into an 8-seater/MPV with 5-6ppl. u may need to get 2 normal cars instead.

Took that bus package before. Not bad la. I took the ice fishing package. There was a group of Korean guys (4 guys) and the rest are japs.

Typhoon coming this week though, and I'm still trying to figure out what sort of clothes to bring since I will be going from Sapporo all the way down to maybe Okayama. And I'm currently still frantically trying to finalize my itinerary since I can't seemed to make up my mind on where to go. haha.

what date will you be reaching in presume Tokyo?
Sat morning? If so i will be more worried whether flight get cancelled or re-timed then what clothes to bring

Typhoon will hit Tokyo around Friday/Sat and will be pretty strong.

The last typhoon last week some flight got cancelled/retimed
