Hi all I needed help here. The external HDD that I had MyBook Essential PCB controller broke down. I tried to take out the HDD and connect it directly to my desktop but the data is encrypted by the PCB I/O controller and thus I am unable to retrieve any data.
I would like to know if anybody have exactly the same model of Mybook Essential or the PCB that I could borrow so that I could decrypt the data and transfer it my desktop internal HDD. Below are the details of the MyBook Essential and PCB number.
